Francis Dunbar served in the Danish-Norwegian army between 1677 and 1685. He was listed as a volunteer with the army in Skane in 1676, who was wounded at the seige of Helsingborg. He was later a lieutenant in the Jyske regiment on 25 April 1685J.C.W. Hirsch and K.
