Constantine Campbell served as a lieutenant in Alexander Hamilton's [SSNE 380]regiment in Swedish service in 1632. This regiment was taken over by Ludovick Leslie [SSNE 396] and served at the battle of Lutzen. In April 1637, Lieutenant General James King rote to Axel Oxenstierna on behalf of Captain Constantine Campbell asking for some support as the captain was departing the army after the loss of his health in service.
