Patrick Galloway was a minister in King James VI's service. He travelled with William Stewart to Denmark in 1590 to bring home the royal couple, James and Princess Anna of Denmark-Norway. He was removed from the Scottish court in 1601 at the queen's request, but collaborated with the king at the General Assembly 1602
