David Law was the son of John (Hans) Law and his consort Margrete. He paid taxes from 1583-9 and a reduced amount in 1617; he was a "bysvend" (municipal official) by 1596. He served as guarantor for Ole Jensen Drager's admision as burgess 13/4/1603. Dead by 1/8/1623, leaving his widow Inger Gregoriusdatter (1628 resident of 4th fjerding but was exempt from taxes because her absence). David's children included: The Reverend David Davidsen, parson of Majbolle in Lolland; Gregorius, born 1599-1600, student; Margrete. The net assets of Law's estate were about 400 dalerT.
