Comment:: Christ is mentioned earlier in the poem at 103a, where it is not certain that the poet is suggesting it is he who is in the oven with the youths. In this second reference Christ is named as the one who has shielded them in the oven, pointing to Jerome's interpretation of the 'filio Dei' of Dn 3.92 as Christ.
