Hosting the exhibition

The exhibition aims to use the lessons of history to improve awareness of present day mental health by exploring mental health issues in the past.

It is designed to be informative and empathetic, bringing out how mental disorders have previously been experienced, classified, and treated. The intention is to encourage people to think about issues like stigma in the present day.

In addition to being hosted at the University of Dundee, the exhibition will tour non-standard venues around the country, such as workplaces and community spaces.

The  exhibition will be available mounted on lightweight foam boards, size A1, or as laminated posters, A2 size, and can be accompanied with slides, display equipment and feedback cards. There would be no charge for hosting the exhibition.

If you would be interested in hosting the exhibition, please contact Prof Rab Houston for further information.
