Born 16.7.1851 son of Joseph M’Kay (According to Matriculation roll born Bridge of Allan; from Kincardine according to Edinburgh University records).

Attended Mechanics Institute (2) and Glasgow Highland Society School.

Career

Also at Glasgow University - M.A. 1874 and Edinburgh University.

Licensed by Dunblane presbytery 1876.

Indian chaplain 1878-1901 (retired). Minister Middelburg 1902-1908.
