Born 10.3.1817 at Chatham only son of Major George Gray, Royal Marines and Ann Rodger. [Soldier]

Career

Brought up at Anstruther. Apprentice writer with Messrs Conolly & Smith. Went to Australia 1839 and became a prominent sheep farmer at Nareeb Nareeb, Victoria until 1886 when he retired to England.

Death

Died London 27.1.1905 and buried Anstruther.
