Born 22.8.1806 2nd son of Christopher Wordsworth, Master, trinity College, Cambridge and Priscilla Lloyd.

Career

Studied at Oxford University - B.A. 1830. D.D. Edinburgh 1884.

2nd Master Winchester College 1835-1846. Warden, Trinity College, Glenalmond 1846-1854. Bishop of St Andrews 1853 - 5.12.1892 (died). Bishopric gained by his own vote as elector. Nephew of William Wordsworth, the poet. [Teacher, minister]
