Born 17.10.1815 son of William Woodcock, merchant, St Andrews and Janet Ballantine.

Career

Also at Edinburgh University - medical student 1832-1833, 1835-1836, 1845-1846.

L.R.C.S.E. 1835.

Assistant surgeon Royal Navy 1.3.1836. Surgeon 1.5.1844. Last served 21.2.1860, but apparently remained on half pay until his death.

Practised Anstruther, where he had a private museum. [Doctor]

Death

Died at Anstruther 14.10.1885 aged 70.
