Born 1837 son of a doctor, who was visiting physician to a large County Asylum. (Possibly baptised 23.8.1837 son of Thomas Williams, Nottingham and Elizabeth [ ].)

Career

Studied St Thomas’s hospital.

M.R.C.S.Eng. 1858 when he was from Nottingham. L.K.Q.C.P.I. 1865. M.R.C.P.E. 1866.

Assistant physician Derby County Asylum then at Asylums for the Counties of Bedford, Herts. [Hertfordshire] and Huntingdon. Assistant physician Bethlem hospital, London 1863. Senior physician 1866. Member of Lunacy Commission 1878-1889 (retired). [Doctor]

Death

Died 28.11.1893 aged 56.
