Birth/childhood

Born 6.11.1802 5th son of John Webster, minister at Inverarity and Mary Bryce.

Career

Studied for the Bar, then travelled in the Middle East for some years.

Wrote Travels through the Crimea, Turkey and Egypt. Published posthumously with memoir in 1830.

Death

Died at Cairo [Egypt] 1.8.1828.
