Probably the man who was a medical student at Edinburgh University 1801-1802, 1803-1804.

Certified as 1st Mate of a 1st Rate Ship by R.C.S.E. 11.8.1803.

Surgeon Royal Navy 19.3.1804. Retired on half pay 1825. Resided at Woodcot near Dollar in practice 1825-1842. Retired to Penzance in 1843. [Doctor]

Died 14.6.1845.
