Born 9.2.1867 son of Robert Scott, Excise officer, Haddington and Catherine Dunbar.
Career
Studied Edinburgh University - arts student 1813-1817, arts and medicine 1817-1818, divinity student 1819-1820. M.A. King’s College, Aberdeen 1816.
Licensed by Haddington presbytery 1820 . Ordained 1829 for service abroad, but became assistant in General Register House.
Minister Anstruther Wester 1839 - 12.7.1872 (died).
Publications. Originator and first compiler of Fasti Ecclesiae Scoticanae.
