Birth/childhood

Born 29.5.1875 2nd son of William Rusack, hotel proprietor, St Andrews and Janet Welsh.

Attended Madras College, St Andrews.

Career

Studied hotel management and languages at Lausanne. Took over the running of Rusack’s Hotel after his father’s death and entertained many famous visitors. Sold hotel in 1946 and retired to Natal where his daughter and sister had settled. [Hotel proprietor]

Death

Died in Natal 8.10.1949.
