Classical tutor, Girton College 1873-1875. Cheltenham Ladies College 1876-1877. First headmistress St Leonards School, St Andrews 1877-1882. [Teacher]
Member and chair of two school boards in Aberdeenshire 1888-1890. D.B.E. [Dame Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire] 1925.
