Possibly brother of William [Hunter, United College] 1843-1844. If he is the John age 12 in Census 1841 St Andrews, then he was born in Ireland.

Also at New College, Edinburgh - divinity student 1848-1849.

Comes on General Council Register in 1887 as Rev. residing at Rockferry, Cheshire without indication of denomination or charge. [Minister?]

Death

Died c. 1904.
