Born 17.7.1832 son of Robert Gover, Andover (Wesleyan) and Rebecca [ ].

Career

Studied St Bartholomew’s hospital.

M.R.C.S.Eng. 1856 when he was from Andover. L.S.A. 1859. M.R.C.P.L. 1876. F.R.C.P.L. 1883.

Spent all his life in the Prison Service, first in Portsmouth then Millbank. Medical Inspector of Prisons 1878. Retired 1896. [Doctor]

Published medical papers.

Death

Died 5.6.1897 at Falmouth.
