Career

Apprenticed to Mr. Carr, Newcastle 1835.

Studied Newcastle School of medicine.

M.R.C.S.Eng. 20.5.1822 when he was from Newcastle on Tyne. L.S.A. 1843. M.D. Durham 1859.

Practised Newcastle. Lectured in anatomy in the Newcastle School and on midwifery in the new Newcastle College. [Doctor, university lecturer]
