Ordained in Episcopal Church. Pastor English Church, Dantzig [now Gdańsk, Poland]1790-1806. Returned to Scotland and resided Edinburgh where he was assistant at St John’s Episcopal Church. [Minister]

Published English translations of Terence’s plays and perhaps other dramatic works.
