Born November 1752 3rd son of John Drayton, St Andrews parish, South Carolina and Margaret Glen.

Career

Accused of fathering a bastard (St A KS 29.4.1771 Draiton).

Also at Edinburgh University 1768-1769.

Nephew of James Glen, Royal Governor, South Carolina who was born in Linlithgow.

Captain 1st Regt., South Carolina Foot. Planter at Beaufort. [Soldier]

Death

Died 5.6.1796 in an impoverished state.
