Born at Ardit 1738 2nd son of Sir Robert Douglas Bt. [Baronet], author of Peerage of Scotland and Margaret MacDonald.

Also studied Edinburgh and Leyden Universities [Edinburgh University, Leiden University] and London.
L.R.C.P.L. 1796. F.R.C.P.E. 1796.
Practised in Dundee and founded with others, Dundee Royal Infirmary in 1798. [Doctor]
Succeeded his father as Baronet of Glenbervie.
Death
Died 28.12.1812.
