Born 4.8.1815 (baptised 11.8.1815 at Tenby) son of George Day, Manorabon House, Swansea and Jane [ ].

Studied Cambridge University - B.A. 1837. M.A. 1840. Lic. Med. 1863. Giessen University - M.D. 1849.

M.R.C.P.L. 1844. F.R.C.P.L. 1847. F.R.S. 1850.

Physician London 1843. Lecturer on materia medica, Middlesex hospital. [University lecturer, doctor]

His secretary was Elise Otté. About 1860 had an accident on Helvelyn when he broke his arm in two places and dislocated his shoulder. The upper break never re-united.
