Studied St Bartholomew’s hospital.

M.R.C.S.Eng. 18.3.1836 when he was from Portsmouth. L.A.C. 1833. M.R.C.P.L. 1859. L.R.C.P.L. 1842.

Medical officer on a merchant vessel 1834 - 1835. Practised Portsmouth 1836 - 1840. Assistant Medical Officer, Hanwell Asylum 1840 - 1844, then went to Ceylon [Sri Lanka] to look after insane. Colney Hatch Asylum 1850 - 1852. Proprietor of Northwoods private asylum 1852 - 1875. [Doctor]

Death

Died 20.2.1895.
