Birth/childhood

Born 1.11.1840 son of David Crighton, draper, Dundee and Janet Hood.

Career

Said to have become a divinity student of the Free Church, but a student of the name studied medicine at Edinburgh University 1860-1867. He became L.R.C.P.E. 1867. L.R.C.S.E. 1867. He practised Mortlake, Surrey and published medical papers. [Medical student, doctor]

Death

He died 5.7.1875 aged 31.
