Born in Northern Ireland 1739 brother of Adair Crawford M.D. of E.I.C.S. [Honourable East India Company's Service].

Career

Studied at Trinity College, Dublin - B.A. 1760.

In E.I.C.S. [Honourable East India Company's Service] 1767 afterwards physician in Demerara. Contributed to Medical Commentaries 1793. Went to Baltimore 1796. An early exponent of vaccination in America. [Soldier, doctor]

Death

Died or1813or 1817 at Baltimore [U.S.A.].
