Birth/childhood

Born c. 1768 son of James Craik, farmer, Forfarshire - possibly born 29.10.1766 Longforgan son of James Craik, Mains of Glenbran and Agnes Lather.

Career

Assistant to minister at Kennoway and schoolmaster there all his life from 1793 except for thee years 1803 - 1806 as schoolmaster at Prestonpans. [Teacher]

Death

Died 2.3.1830 aged 62.
