Apprentice to Bell, Russell and Wardrop, Edinburgh.

Also at Edinburgh University - M.D. 1821.

Assistant surgeon Army Medical service 1809 etc. Retired on half pay 1836. Served in Portuguese Army when on retired list. [Doctor, soldier]

Death

Died 18.12.1845 at Naples [Italy].
