Born 17.9.1779 2nd son of George Campbell, minister, Cupar and Magdalene Hallyburton.

Career

Called to English bar in 1806 having entered Lincolns Inn 1800. M.P. Stafford 1830 and subsequently for other places. Held various high legal offices becoming Lord Chancellor in 1859. [Lawyer, politician]
