Birth/childhood

Born in Jamaica c.1806 son of a sugar planter.

Attended Sherborne school.

Career

M.R.C.S.Eng. 5.3.1830 when he was from Sherborne, Dorset. L.S.A. 1829. F.R.C.S.Eng. 1853.

Practised London then by 1858 he emigrated to New Zealand and practised there until 1874. [Doctor]

Death

Died Sherborne 4.9.1871 aged 71.
