Born 1827 son of Thomas Le Gay Brereton, physician, Bawtry and Mary Ann Taylor. [Doctor]

Career

Studied Edinburgh University - medical student 1847-1851.

M.R.C.S.Eng. 1851. L.S.A. 1851. L.R.C.S.E. 1851.

Practised in the North of England probably near Doncaster. Emigrated to Sydney in 1859 and practised there until 1882 when he retired to Osgathorpe, Gladesville. [Doctor]

Publications - mainly poetry and didactic prose.
