Baptised 17.5.1747 son of Patrick Barron of Preston and Margaret Seton.

Career

Took maternal name of Seton on being adopted by his uncle, George Seton of Ekolsund. Created in 1797 knight of the Swedish Order of Vasa as Sir Alexander Seton of Ekolsund. Appears to have been an advocate, but whether he lived chiefly in Sweden or at Preston is not known. [Lawyer]

Death

Alive at Preston 5.4.1813, but his date of death is not known.
