Practised Nottingham 1859 - 1864. then Brisbane, Queensland 1864 onwards. President, Queensland Medical Board 1882 - 1884. President, Board of Health 1884 to death [1884-16.6.1897]. Gave his name to Bancroft filariasis [Parasitic disease]. [Doctor]
