New interactive map and Catalonian archive resource list available

We’re pleased to announce that our partner website in Barcelona has new materials available for those interested in monastic and manuscript studies in early medieval Catalonia!

A new interactive map has been created that shows the different Benedictine monasteries in medieval Catalonia. Each location pin links to an article with further information on the history of the individual house. You can find the map here.

We have also created a new list of archives in Catalonia and elsewhere that contain Carolingian and post-Carolingian manuscripts from ninth- to eleventh-century Catalonia and Septimania. Each of these entries links to the archive website directly. You can find this resource page here.
