István Hont Archive

István Hont (1947-2013) was University Reader in the History of Political Thought at King's College, University of Cambridge. Dr Hont's papers have been donated to the University of St Andrews, which will also hold the István Hont Memorial Library. The Institute of Intellectual History organises the István Hont Book Prize for the best new work in intellectual history published in any calendar year and regularly holds memorial lectures. The Hont archive features research notes and teaching materials, texts of lectures and presentations, and previously unpublished essays.
